Alison & boys

My sister recently told me that if this was "Silent" spinster stories, I'd better shut my yapper. What she didn't understand is one paragraph of explanation IS silent for me. Yesterday my co-worker (and DEAR friend) Alison was kind enough to let me use her and the boys as guinea pigs and do a mini-photo shoot. The boys pretended to be very upset about it, but every where I went James seemed to be posing right in front of the camera...and loving it! I think he's found a new career where in his words he will make "hundreds of dollars."

The Dexter Days Fair

It's been a long time since I pulled out my camera, but what better time of year than autumn! We took all the nieces and nephews and some friends as well and went to get some apple cider and donuts in Dexter. Unfortunately Kristin locked not one...not two.. but all three sets of keys in the car and we were forced to extend our stay in Dexter. FORTUNATELY, the Dexter Days fair was going on, so we strolled over and let the kids go crazy. Here are some of my favorite shots:
