The hardest photo shoots are with families that just don't know how to loosen up and have a good time. Unfortunately there isn't a silly bone to be found in the the Magenta family...good thing they're so zoolander-ishly good-looking.

The Davises
For Nan. And her lovely daughter Julia who once called the house and had the following strange conversation with me:
I answered, "Hello?" She responded, "When do you need me to come over?" Stumped I replied, "I guess that depends on why you're coming." She thought I was Kristin and was coming over to babysit - I had no idea. We both left the conversation more puzzled than we began. She photographs very well considering these were taken on a dark stage, with fluorescent lights, and only a blue curtain as backdrop. (Sorry Julia - the kick didn't turn out as well as I hoped. We'll have to do another shoot to really do it justice.) :)

Shawn & Lisa Quinn
We have this great barn with M Go Blue on it nearby that we were trying to capture for Shawn & Lisa's Christmas cards. Due to the "prickleys" as Keely called them, the sad kids who didn't want to sit still and who were only happy when hitting Dad's head, it was a bit of a struggle. Think we still came out with a few good ones...
